There's a scarcity of women medical researchers in the U.S. Therefore, GEMs hopes to empower more girls to try research! Research opportunities for high schoolers are available, but these often require being proactive in pursuing these outside of high schools that have not developed enough of such opportunities. Below is a sample list of research projects done during the last year by GEMs contacts and with which organizations these were done. Contact us and let's discuss how we can help each other with attaining great research & work experience.
